“The movement inherent in the piece and the movement of the wearer work together. I marvel at the duality of jewelry – that it’s one thing by itself, and another when in tandem with the human form. Both aspects need to be equally successful.
— Debra Lynn Gold

I create simply fabricated spatial structures and introduce playful, often moveable, elements within a more formal framework. I want my work to be dynamic and command its own space.  It should also redefine space when it’s being worn.  I believe a well designed piece of jewelry should be as dynamic as the human form on which it’s worn.

Sterling silver is formed and fabricated using direct, hands on processes. Colored materials, gemstones and anodized aluminum, complement the silver resulting in jewelry that is uncommon yet exceedingly wearable.

Each finished piece offers me an ongoing dialog, often suggesting where to take my next idea.  As each piece becomes a springboard for the next, it creates movement in the creative process itself.
